The Argentine tribute band God Save the Queen (Dios Salve a la Reina) delivers all the beloved magic and sound of the band Queen. Pablo Pardín sings the vocals that belonged to Freddy Mercury. Tribute to Omar Alfanno
Wednesday, March 6 at the ruins of Panama Viejo
High tribute will be payed to the Panamanian songwriter, composer and singer Omar Alfanno in an event called “De Panama Para el Mundo” (From Panama For the World). Alfanno, who is famous around the world for composing songs for highly successful artistes like the Puerto Rican salsa superstar Marc Anthony, will be accompanied on stage by some of the musical greats who have performed his pieces over the year. They include salsa star Luis Enrique, salsa star Tony Vega and romantic ballad singer Ángel López. Tickets are on sale for $50 and $175 at ticketplus.com.pa, Epago and Metro Pharmacies.

Gilberto Santa Rosa, the Puerto Rican salsa and bolero singer, winner of 13 gold albums, 13 platinum albums and three multi platinum albums will play for what is certain to be a large gathering at the Panama Canal Administration Building. The Vox for St. Patrick’s Day

The Panamanian rock band The Vox presents a special St. Patrick’s Day Rock Party featuring new songs by the band. Attendees are asked to come dressed in green. The party is at Hangar 18, in Betania.
