It is hard to forget a place like Panama, but it is even less likely that visitors to our country could allow the isthmus to slip their minds if they take back a trendy guayabera shirt from No Me Olvides, a new tourist boutique open on Calle 4 at Avenida A in Casco Antiguo. The name of the new shopmeans “Forget Me Not.”

The guayaberas is a traditional four-pocket, button down Latin American men’s shirt that has found new uses at No Me Olvides like women’s dresses and even a design inspiration for pillows. Tourists will also find jewelry, books and hats all representative of Panama at the new shop.

Today, Thursday May 9, the store is celebrating a soft opening party in the evening. A second store will soon open in Obarrio across from the lateral entrance to Price smart. For information call 211-1209 or write
