Expocomer, the most import trade fair in Central America, will take place from Wednesday, March 26 to Saturday, March 29 at the ATLAPA Convention Center. Exhibitors from more than 30 countries are expected with participants from the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia showcasing their products that include food and drinks, textiles and accessories, construction supplies and the latest in technology and services.
Countries like China, Taiwan, Turkey, Mexico, India, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Argentina have confirmed their assistance and several commercial missions will also come to the event to carry out commercial transactions.
Raul Delvalle, president of the Expocomer Organization Commission, now in its 22nd edition, said that 90% of the exhibition area has already been sold. Apart from the actual exhibits there are going to be seminars, forums and a Business Roundtable taking place on Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. “to allow specialized buyers and entrepreneurs to have meetings with the speakers.”
Last year, Expocomer produced $80 million in business transactions and in the Expocomer Business Center more than 4,000 business appointments took place.
