February 14 is Valentine’s Day and all around the world people will be celebrating friendship and love. Panama is not an exception and many hotels and restaurants are preparing a special menu for love birds. The Visitor, with you in mind, has rounded up the top romantic spots in Panama to ensure your special day goes off without a hitch.
The Hard Rock Hotel Megapolis is offering deals in its three restaurants. A $35 dollar buffet dinner in Bazaar includes a welcome glass of sangria. At Asian-themed Soy, appetizer, entree and dessert goes for $50 with sake cocktail included. The Wyndham Tryp Hotel in Albrook is having a buffet dinner in their Canal Bistro Restaurant from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. The cost is $29.95 per person and includes a glass of champagne with dinner. Afterwards, a glass of wine and live music can be enjoyed in the hotel’s Gastro Bar, also included. A stay at the hotel the night of Friday the 14th goes for $79 per person and includes the buffet dinner with champagne for two and a buffet breakfast the morning of the 15th. The Waldorf Astoria offers romantic diners at its two restaurants. At the BRIO Brasserie there is an option of a buffet dinner for $29 per person plus taxes. Everybody will receive a martini cosmopolitan and the ladies will receive a rose. There is going to be live music from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
On the other hand, the Ginger Restaurant Sushi Bar & Lounge offers an exotic ambiance for those who enjoy Asian cuisine. A special Valentine’s menu has been created and includes an appetizer, salad, sushi rolls, main dish and a heart shape dessert to share with your sweetheart plus a cocktail.
