A unique event for museum goers is coming to Panama on Tuesday, April 22, courtesy of the Network of Museums and Visitor Centers of the Interoceanic Region. The Biomuseum, the Contemporary Art Museum (MAC) and the Museum of the Interoceanic Canal are joining forces with the City Sightseeing tour bus company to offer “Museum Night.” Tickets to the event cost $30 (adults only) and include hop-on, hop-off bus service between the three museum locations which will be open from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Margot López, Biomuseum spokesperson, informed The Visitor that Museum Night is designed for locals and tourists alike who would like to visit these places but may not know where they are located or are worried about driving. “I would love for senior citizens who may not normally go out at night to form a group to come out and discover their city,” she said.
The bus service will be running from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. A closing reception for ticket holders will be held at the American Trade Hotel at 11 p.m. which includes a courtesy cocktail. For more information, call 830-6700, 211-1994 or visit
