There will be housing projects for all budgets located in different areas of Panama province, such as Juan Diaz, Pacora, La Chorrera, Arraijan, San Francisco, Hato Pintado, Pueblo Nuevo, Betania, Las Cumbres, Santa Ana and 24 de Diciembre.

Beach and mountains projects will be showcased for the residential tourism and retiree markets.

The event, organized by the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC for its initials in Spanish), also includes “Do it yourself” workshops, which aim to teach those who own a property or are planning to get one, practical skills that because of the degree of difficulty will need a specialist.

As well as the informative talks, a “skills competition” will again be a feature of the fair. This time it comprises three categories: tiling, plastering and building a cement block wall. The contestants are all artisans, part of the building industry and the public is invited to cheer for their favorite.

The organizers said that last year the fair registered $150 million in transactions and it is expected that in this year that figure will be surpassed. For more information visit www.capac.org.
