A concert to honor Carmen Linares and Maritza Kitras, winners of the prestigious Adriana Orillac prize, the highest tribute given to Panamanian pianists, will take place on Monday, June 30 at the Athenaeum of the City of Knowledge at 8:00 p.m. This year the guest artist is the Russian virtuoso, Nikolay Khozyainov, who will interpret music by Robert Schumann and Federico Chopin.

He recently began his first international tour of the Americas, sponsored by Yamaha Latin America and Productos Superiores S.A. (SUPRO). The “Yamaha Latin America Premium Piano Tour 2014” includes presentations in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Panama.

Tickets cost $20 and are for sale at La Nota y El Deportista, SUPRO’s sale room in Albrook and at the City of Knowledge reception office, Building 104, Clayton.
