Latin American British Chambers gather for “Britlan” Summit

Panama’s British Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual “Britlan Summit” from Wednesday, August 20 – Friday, August 22 during which time representatives from all the British Chambers in Latin America will gather to strategize, share best practices and network with business leaders and members of the hosting Chamber.

Panama is hosting the event for the first time. The summit includes participation of Chamber members from Costa Rica, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Uruguay.

The event begins with the monthly Chamber Lunch on the 20th of August. On Thursday, August 21, an “Evening Event” at the Waldorf Astoria will take place to honor the visiting Britlan representatives.

Established in 2003, the British Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (BRITLAN) is the regional network of British Chambers of Commerce.

In addition, two private lunches are planned for the 21st and 22nd of August and a public cocktail will take place on the night of the 21st. Sponsorship opportunities are available for these events.
