Night Race against Cancer
The international sports brand, FILA, joins forces with the Fundacáncer Foundation for the fifth consecutive year of its campaign against breast cancer. Together they host a running event that will take place on Saturday, October 25 starting from La Cinta Costera at 6 p.m., for which it has been dubbed the “Fila Night Race.” The organizers of the event seek to raise awareness of the disease while it celebrates those who have survived. The inscription carries a cost of $20 and includes a racing kit and a tote bag, available at Sportline stores across the city. For more information visit Facebook.com/FilaLatin.
The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. Pink ribbons and the color pink in general express moral support for women with breast cancer and are most commonly seen during October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
