The CanadaPLUS Club will host their annual Carols by Candlelight event at the Amphitheatre of the Mirador Del Pacifico at the Coastal Strip on Saturday, December 6 at 7 p.m.

Música Viva, an internationally recognized, award-winning choir, will be singing the Hallelulah Chorus from Handel’s “Messiah” under direction of Maestro Jorge Ledezma-Bradley.

The choir recently returned from a European tour where it performed in numerous cities and at the Montecatini International Festival in Italy and at the Vatican.

Musica Viva, formed by Ledezma-Bradley in 1978, will be joined by six other choirs in a two hour performance with the audience invited to participate in the singing of selected carols.

The illustrated carol books in Spanish and English are available at Felipe Motta outlets, Crepes and Waffles (Marbella and Albrook Mall), Chalet Suizo/1985 Restaurant, El Rincón Alemán and New York Bagels.

The concert is free, but souvenir LED candles in support of Hospital Santo Tomás may be purchased for $5 and $10.

A limited number of reserved seats that include a candle and song book are available at $25, $20 and $15. All orders of $25 or more will be delivered to homes or offices in Panama.
