Diving: Bocas del Toro has one of the best preserved coral ecosystems in the Caribbean. Dive operators in Bocas bring their clients to more than 15 sites, and are constantly in the search for new places to admire the underwater creatures. Oreba Chocolate Tour: Learn about the origin of chocolate with a tour that includes a jungle walk and the chance to see wild animals. The tour can be booked in Bocas Town at the Hostel Heike or Casa Verde. Tours are generally conducted twice daily at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Call Tel. 6411-5670.

Enjoy the pristine beaches: Once Ferry Xpress anchors in Bocas, you can ask one of the local boaters to take you to any of the beaches around Isla Colón such as Costa Azul Beach or Starfish Beach (Playa de las Estrellas) and on Bastimentos Island where Turtle Beach and Long Beach can be found.
