United Airlines has launched their new nonstop service between Denver International Airport (DIA) and Panama City. The first flight arrived in Tocumen International yesterday, Wednesday, December 3. Denver Mayor, Michael B. Hancock arrived in Panama on the inaugural flight along with a delegation of 35 dignitaries and CEOs who have meetings scheduled with Panamanian government officials and business leaders throughout the week.
The new flights depart United’s hub daily between November and August and five times per week in September and October. United will operate the service with Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 118 seats, 12 in first class and 106 in economy. Tickets have been available for the route as of July.
