Copa Airlines recently announced that, as of mid-year, they will begin service to three new destinations: Villahermosa (July 31) and Puebla (August 4) in Mexico and New Orleans (June 24) in the United States, with four weekly flights to each destination.

Copa announces service to three new destinations

This expands Copa’s network to 73 destinations across 30 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean, including 11 destinations in the United States and six in Mexico.

Copa also announced a new partnership with the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) to promote Panama abroad. Between April and August 2015, Copa will conduct a publicity campaign emphasizing the airports in David and Río Hato in markets such as U.S., Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Canada.

For 2015, Copa is projecting growth of 7% and is expecting to transport approximately 12,277,000 passengers, about 600,000 more than in 2014.
