The Art of Living Foundation was founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a spiritual leader who leads a mission to create a world that is free from violence through fostering human values and inspiring ethics and integrity in all aspects of life. Sri Sri leads the organization by offering a powerful breathing technique called Sudarshan Kriya Yoga.
With around 4,000 participants in 152 countries, The Art of Living has established a strong presence in Panama. Established in the San Francisco neighbourhood of Panama City in 1994, this organization offers an array of courses and lifestyle programs to improve well-being, eliminate stress and create a deep respect for the world and its people.
Vanessa Aguilera de Chen, President of The Art of Living Panama, describes The Art of Living’s creed as “the service to others as an expression of joy and love.
Kriya yoga offers participants awareness of breath and its secrets, allowing them to become more focused, centred and at peace. This improves citizenship, therefore benefiting family and community.
