A Panamanian yacht charter company has been selected to represent the world–famous Guy Harvey Outpost brand. It is Panama Yacht and Fishing Charters, operating with three luxury vessels for expeditions in both Pacific and Caribbean waters.
The 98’ Knight & Carver mother-ship “Ms B Haven“ is the pride of the fleet and offers the ultimate in seagoing luxury for up to 10 people with five staterooms and a comfortable lounge. A 66’ Buddy Davis yacht and a 37’ Strike Walkaround are also offered for charter.
Big game fishing is the major offering of Panama Yacht and Fishing Charters but there is a lot more to choose from.
The cruising and beachcombing experience around Panama’s coasts, with its 1,500 or so islands is unique, notably in the Perlas archipelago in the Pacific where the yachts anchor off deserted beaches on an uninhabited island, and in the San Blas archipelago in the Caribbean, home of the Guna indigenous tribe, where visits to island villages will afford lifetime memories. Panama Yacht and Fishing Charters also travels to Bocas del Toro and Coiba National Park, as well as to Piñas Bay, in the Darien Province, one of the planet’s top sport fishing destinations.
“Ms B Haven” is equipped with a scuba diving tank compressor and a hookah rig for diving with an air line. Watersport toys are also on board so paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, wakeboarding and snorkeling are also on the menu. Panama’s numerous islands and contoured coastline make for interesting paddle sport tours. The ability to anchor almost anywhere opens up great possibilities, including surfing charters to hunt world class waves at remote locations.
Guy Harvey is a marine scientist who travels the globe researching knowledge crucial to developing new and better understanding of our marine environment. He is also a celebrated artist who depicts marine landscapes with its diverse aquatic lifeforms. The creed of the Guy Harvey Outpost brand is to foster sustainable ecotourism that benefits both clients and the communities in often remote and exotic destinations which often face challenges in protecting their environment.
If you prefer something more relaxing, the yachts are outfitted with luxurious soft leather furnishing, air conditioning throughout and modern conveniences. And talking of menus – the yacht is fully staffed and the chef provides memorable meals throughout the voyage.
General Manager of Panama Yacht & Fishing Charters, Hennie Marais, told The Visitor: “The variety we offer means that the dedicated big game fisherman can now enjoy a holiday with his wife and family or a group of friends who are not all keen fishermen.”
