This Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, Panama hosts a free music festival sponsored by the Alliance Française and Punto Bohemio. The Fête de la Musique, also known as World Music Day, is a French celebration that is today observed in 120 countries. Panama City will make available its public spaces for the event to showcase artistes, some new and others well-established, and bring them in direct touch with audiences. This includes various Metro train platforms that will serve as the stage for a “musical intervention” by French accordionist, Marion Sila.
