Organizers of the 2015 Business Roundtable in Chiriqui expect to generate over $10 million in transactions. The commercial event takes place Tuesday, August 18 – Thursday, August 20 at the San José de David fairgrounds.

The Business Roundtable inaugurates Tuesday, August 18.Camilo Brenes, president of the Chiriqui Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, explained that this third edition of the Business Roundtable is a multi-sectoral event to provide a space for companies, institutions and organizations to establish strategic relationships, all geared towards increasing exports of the country’s western region and capitalize on the opportunities offered by free trade agreements signed by Panama.

Danelo Arauz, director of the organizing committee, said that “the province of Chiriqui is growing thanks to the competitive advantages that add value to investments of any kind.”

This year, the Business Roundtable will host a group of buyers, endorsed by the fair, from the U.S., Switzerland and Kosovo. Also participating will be business leaders from Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador and Dominican Republic.
