Dutch airline, KLM, is in the process of installing new cabin seats with more personal space on its Schiphol – Panama flights. These “World Business Class” seats should be available on all of their Boeing 777-200 fleet by the end of the first quarter of 2016.
Currently, one of the refurbished aircraft is traveling the route between Amsterdam and Panama, and it is expected that two more planes, equipped with the new executive seat, will join the fleet from October 25 to cover the seven weekly flights between these two destinations.
The “World Business Class” cabin is equipped with ergonomic seats that turn into a comfortable bed, 207 cm long. It also has a personal entertainment system with a 17 inch definition screen, equipped with a multitasking system that allows the user to address business and pleasure while traveling.
The intelligent design of the new cabin ensures privacy for travelers and keeps personal items accessible throughout the trip, thanks to its individual storage compartments.
This new seat design was created to provide greater comfort for long-distance travelers making their way between Panama and Europe.
