CAPAC Expo Habitat
CAPAC EXPO HABITAT, the international construction and real estate fair will take place from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 at the Atlapa Convention Center. More than 35,000 visitors are expected. This fair higlights the latest tendencies in finishing, design, machinery, technology, construction products and real estate.
Under the slogan “Sustaining Panama progress”, the fair will reunite the most important companies in the real estate and construction sector, who will present their commercial and residential projects. Also, the construction industry will showcase the most powerful machinery and the finest finishing.
More than 400 companies are participating in the event which could generate $160 million in business transactions.
Developers will present projects in Las Cumbres, Arraiján, La Chorrera, San Francisco, Juan Díaz, Río Abajo, Betania, Pueblo Nuevo, Bella Vista,as well as in the beach, river and mountain areas and other cities in the interior.
The fair is organized by the Camara Panameña de la Construccion (Panamanian Construction Chamber CAPAC) which recently celebrated its 54 anniversary.
Roderick McGowen, CAPAC president said that the “Panamanian economy maintains a sustained boom and the construction industry with its millions in investment is one of the most dynamic sectors.”
Capac Expo Habitat is a way to showcase the construction industry. This year the public will find technical presentations, the workshop “Do it yourself”, a business roundtable and construction safety demonstrations
The fair will open on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday 12, from 1 p.m. a 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 m.d to 8 p.m. Entrance cost $2. Free parking and transport to ATLAPA from Instituto Técnico Don Bosco.
