2015 has just ended and along with the arrival of 2016, New Year’s resolutions are very present on people’s minds. With the New Year comes the opportunity of a new beginning and it is a good time to think about what you want to do in the future.
“Health, Money, and Love” is the phrase many will use to toast at midnight, but in addition to these wishes, here are some of the common resolutions for New Year:
Lose weight. For many people, this means choosing a healthier lifestyle and getting in shape. This is probably the most common resolution.
Achieve Economic stability. That means to able to pay your debts and start saving. Despite this being a difficult goal for many people, the start of a new period brings clarity when it comes to making decisions. The first month of the year is a good time to plan your economic projects and aim to increase your savings.
Find Love. Some people want to fall in love, find that special person, or get engaged or married.
Be a better person every day. The idea is to be more empathetic and sympathetic to others. This is goal that many want to achieve both spiritually and socially.
Travel. Having the opportunity to go elsewhere is what many people dream about. Regardless of the season, traveling is a good experience that can recharge you both physically and mentally.
Quit a vice. Whether smoking, drinking alcohol or any other harmful habit, this is one of those decisions that need perseverance and dedication, but nothing is impossible .
Achieve Job Success. For some, the goal will be a pay rise, a change of job or to get a job, become a freelance or start a new project.
To learn. Learning an instrument, a discipline, to cook, surf, draw, dance, sing, drive, etc. The point is to acquire new knowledge during the year.
It’s easy to make a list of goals, but it is more difficult to put them into action and fulfill them. Do not forget that with dedication, perseverance and a little help from relatives or friends you can fulfill all your purposes for this 2016.
