Panama Micro Brew Fest, takes place on Friday 26 and Saturday, February 27 at the City of Knowledge Urban Market area (former Patio del Sabor) for all our Beer Lovers. Now in its fourth edition, the festival will have the participation of 12 local craft breweries and connoisseurs will have the opportunity to sample over 200 beers. Tickets costs $20 the day of the event and $13 on pre-sale. They are only valid for one day.

Important craft beer distributors like Panhellenic Enterprises, Evil Twin Brewery, Fullers, Cervecería Insurgente, Anderson Valley and many more will be present at the festival. The local industry will be represented by La Rana Dorada, Istmo Brew Pub, Casa Bruja, Quinta Esencia, Tres Gatos, Bocas Brewing, Boquete Brewing and Cervecería Central to mention a few.

The organizers have invited the Belgian beer experts LB BIEREN, who will offer beers such as Delirium Tremens, Brugse Zot, and St Bernardus which are very trendy in Europe, while Brew Stop will bring imported brands from the north like Rogue Ales, Abita and Lost Coast.

Gypsy breweries generally do not have their own equipment or premises. They operate on a temporary or itinerant basis out of the facilities of another brewery, generally making “one-off” special occasion beers

Cerveceria Insurgente brewmaster, Ivan Morales, will be present, as well as one of the great master brewers, Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergs, founder of Evil Twin Brewery from Denmark, which is one of most important gypsy breweries in the world.

The festival will open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, and on both days will close at midnight.
