Ezza live. On Thursday April 28, the French Tuareg band, “Ezza” will perform at the Ateneo theater in the City of Knowledge at 8 p.m. The concert is part of the tour of cultural concerts organized by World Music Panama, which seeks to present music professionals with cultural roots who contribute to the development and evolution of musical genres.
Ezza is an international French Tuareg band comprising members from France, Nigeria, and Algeria. The group performs its own musical genre with African roots. This concert is to introduce their new album, “Alkher” (Peace), which blends modern and universal music with African rhythms.
Concert-goers will enjoy melodies inspired by the desert, an exquisite blend of blues, rock and Tuareg songs that take the audience on a cultural tour through Nigeria, the homeland of Omar Adam, singer of the band.
This is the third of nine concerts organized by World Music Panama in 2016. The event aims for professional musicians to visit Panama and disseminate their musical genres while at the same time creating a cultural exchange.
