The son of Saul
Hungarian drama directed by László Nemes. It won the Oscar as the best foreign film this year at the Cannes Gran Prix. The story is about a Hungarian Jewish prisoner whose job is to burn the bodies of the inmates executed in the gas chamber. He finds a boy alive in the crematorium, rescues and adopts him.
El Desconocido (The Unknown)
Spanish suspense film, which is very gripping; Filmmaker Dani de la Torre electrifies the audience with his tale about a banker who is in a car sitting on a bomb. He must remain there while continuing driving with his children onboard and listening to the instructions of a blackmailer. Adrenalin and drama in an extraordinary work by the main actor Luis Tosar.
La calle de la amargura (The bitter road)
The Mexican director Arturo Ripstein is a must for film lovers, because of his movies full of grudges and passion. On this occasion his film “Calle de la Amargura” (The Bitter Road) is a police thriller about two prostitutes who go for a night out to enjoy dwarf wrestling and put unwary customers to sleep to rob them.
Mi gran noche (My great night)
The master of the Spanish black comedy, Alex de lglesia comes back with a parody about the television world and its problems. “Mi gran noche” starsthe famous singer Raphael, who is making fun of himself in this colossal and hilarious movie.
