Biomuseo celebrates Biodiversity day. The Biomuseum, located in Amador Causeway, will celebrate Biodiversity Day on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22. The weekend will be full of free activities for the whole family. Saturday is dedicated to the flora with a Day at the Park, from 10:00 a.m., to 8:30 p.m. The public will have the opportunity to plant a tree, enjoy the sounds of the jungle at night and discover why biodiversity is important for human survival.
On Sunday, the Biomuseum will celebrate fauna, specifically snakes. Some 20 specimens will be shown. The public will learn what these reptiles can teach humans and how specialists extracts venom from them.
