Vía Plural takes Panama city. The second edition of the festival of street art “Via Plural” will be held on Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m. along Avenida Central in Calidonia, and some parts of Casco Antiguo, with the participation of more than 600 national and international artists.

This year’s festival will feature three major art circuits. The first is a “Street Art” circuit, in which different works will be performed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in some streets of Casco Antiguo.

The second circuit will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Av. Central where different artistic performances such as theater, music, dance, film and urban gallery, will take place in 14 stations situated between the Amador Theater and Av. Cinco de Mayo.

To round up the event, the third circuit will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Plaza V Centenario, where the “Mercadito Plural” will be installed. Attendees can purchase cultural products and services, besides enjoying the closing of the festival.

As part of Via Plural, international artistes “Les Compagnons Butineurs” and “Monsieur Pif” will hold three presentations in Panama, performing on Wednesday, May 18 at the Alliance Francaise, on Thursday, May 19, at the City of Knowledge and on Friday, May 20 at the Anita Villalaz Theatre in Casco Antiguo at 8 p.m.
