Friday’s Panama Canal inspired menu. On the occasion of the opening of the Panama Canal expansion, TGI Friday’s Panama has created two new burgers and a commemorative cocktail that are available until Thursday, June 30.
These dishes have been created with a Panamanian touch, with flavors that reflect the customs and history of Panama. The cocktail has been created to celebrate Panamanian pride on this special occasion.
The “Panamax Burger” named in honor of the previous maximum size of vessels crossing the canal, is an especially juicy hamburger steak with glaze of Ron Abuelo, accompanied by Monterey Jack cheese and topped with thin slices of ripe banana and onions served with soft fried yucca sticks accompanied by a Mediterranean aioli sauce seasoned with coriander. Friday’s also offers the “NeoPanamax Burger” This is an enlarged version of the Panamax hamburger, which, like ships crossing the canal, doubles its predecessor in size with two delicious patties.
The Friday’s commemorative cocktail created for this celebration is the “Panamanian Margarita”, a version of the popular margarita which is made with lime or lemon juice and tequila, but using the authentic and traditional Seco Herrerano instead.
Try these limited edition burgers in all the TGI Friday’s branches in Panama and Chiriqui. For more information visit www.FridaysPanama.com.
