Uno y yo debutes at Teatro Amador. The new Panamanian fusion band “UNO y Yo” will make its debut in an unprecedented concert in Teatro Amador in Casco Antiguo, on Wednesday June 29 at 9:30 p.m.

“UNO y Yo” is a musical project led by Panamanian arranger and composer, Tille Valderrama, who is known for his collaboration with artistes such as Pedro Altamiranda, with whom he has worked for more than 30 years, arranging and composing many of his songs.

This project was born from Tille’s dream to bring several professional musicians together in the same band. “UNO y Yo” is formed by Eduardo Charry from the band “Afrodisiaco”, on piano and keyboard, Ariel Valdez on bass and musical direction, the renowned Czech percussionist, Luis Mitil, on drums, and the legendary Francis Buckley on percussion.

Many of these artistes have worked with Tille over the years. Their songs are loaded with sensitive social issues, presented in diverse genres such as rock, jazz, Latin music and world music.

These talented independent musicians have been working on this proposal since late 2015 and the concert on Wednesday, June 29, will be their first live performance with the band “UNO y Yo”.

The space for the first concert is limited so reservations are required by phone at 6996-1126 or by writing to UnoYYo@hotmail.com. The cost of tickets is $20.
