Varela Hemanos Wine Fair. “Brindemos por lo que nos une” (Cheers to what unites us) is the slogan of the sixth edition of the premium wine-tasting scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the RIU Plaza Hotel on Calle 50.
On this occasion, besides having 50 participating wineries from different countries around the world such as Argentina, Chile, Italy, USA, France, New Zealand, Portugal, Australia and Spain, there will be a wide selection of mixology and microbrews.
This year’s fair will also feature five new international wineries with their specialty wines for the public to taste, such as the George Vigouroux Winery from France, who are specialists in French Malbec; the Italian winery Vigneti del Salento, with wines from the Puglia region; the Portuguese La Bodega Quinta do Portal, with a selection of red wines and its famous green wine. Representing the Americas are Escorihuela Gascón and Bodega Noemia wineries from Argentina with wines from the area of Rio Negro, Patagonia.
The fair will feature an exclusive area for “mixology” and a stand for gin to taste different gin and tonics.
