United States Panama Entrepreneurial Council. The third business encounter of the United States Panama Entrepreneurial Council (USPA) will take place on Thursday, August 11 at the Wyndham Panama Albrook Mall hotel. The one day event seeks to be a platform to promote business opportunities between Panama and the United States.

The United States Panama Entrepreneurial Council will create business opportunities between the two countries.

The main sectors which will be examined on this occasion are: agriculture, advisory services and medical technology. Well known figures from the U.S. business world, who are interested in investing in the country, will be at the encounter. It is expected that more than 200 representatives from the entrepreneurial, legal, banking and government sectors will attend the event.

Other subjects for discussion are: ‘The Benefits and Incentives of the Financial System’, ‘Panama: Brand Country’ and ‘Promotion of Opportunities for bilateral business’.

Nestor Gonzalez, Deputy Minister of Foreign Commerce, will give a speech about ‘Vision and Business Opportunities: Trade Relations with the United States’. The event will also have well respected speakers such as Marcelo Burma, President and CEO of Grupo Cerca; Brigg Lopez, CEO of MIC International Trade Consulting, United States; Irene Gimenez, General Manager of Goethals Consulting Corp. and Camilo Valdes, Associate Senior of the firm Tapia, Linares y Alfaro.

The United States Panama Entrepreneurial Council (USPA) is a non-profit binational organization with offices in Panama and the United States. Its objective is to achieve a consensus in important matters such as commerce, investment and liberalized cash flow between Panama and the United States.
