Panama Beach Town Irish Pub. The Blarney Stone, the Irish pub beloved by those who like good paddy grub, is opening a second restaurant in the beach town of Coronado to the delight of its customers, who miss the restaurant’s traditional Sunday Roast when they go to the beach for weeked.
Allen O’Connell, owner of the Blarney Stone told The Visitor that the new premises has enough space to have a stage outside, where there will be live bands and other events and there is a possibility for a mini golf course to be built in the future.
The restaurant is due to open in mid-October and regulars and new clients can expect the same cozy decor inside the pub. However a large terrace with seating for up to seventy surrounds the entire pub and there is a spacious beer garden which gives a bit of a beach feel to the place.
The menu will feature such favorite dishes as Irish Stew, Bangers and Mash and Fish & Chips with some Panamanian touches added for good measure. Beer lovers might like to note that the full selection of bottle and draft beers from Casa Bruja is available.
To get there turn left into Coronado at the Rey supermarket. The restaurant is 250 meters from the Panamerican highway.
