Casco Antiguo Teatro Amador Jazz Show. On Wednesday, October 12 at 8 p.m., the Teatro Amador in Casco Antiguo will be the venue for the “Casco Jazz Nights”, an evening of live jazz music presentations, performed by talented professional Panamanian musicians. Wednesday’s event will feature two jazz sessions. First come “The Beatles Jazz Tribute” where the public will be able to enjoy the most well-known hits of the famous Liverpool quartet such as “Let It Be” and “All You Need Is Love”, but interpreted in a jazz music version. This tribute will be played by musicians Luis David Bonilla on guitar, Carlos Quiros on the bass, Chale Icaza on drums and Nestor Ibarra on the violin.
Later in the evening the “Latin Jazz Extravaganza” will take the stage. Latin Jazz is a musical sub-genre that mixes the traditional sounds and instruments of jazz, from which it is derived, with flavors and rhythms of Latin music, such as Cuban and Brazilian. This musical extravaganza will be performed by the band Nando Lopez Sextet, directed by pianist Nando Lopez.
