Seussical the Musical at the Guild Theater: Great stories come to life!

“Seussical” was originally commissioned by the US Embassy for the International Book Fair in August of 2016 at Atlapa, as part of the Educational English Outreach Program. The story is about a girl called Jojo, who has a great imagination. She finds a hat and the famous ‘Cat with a Hat’ appears before her and starts telling her different stories about friendship and love.

This is a play that can be enjoyed by the whole family, with a cast of 27 actors singing and dancing and bringing to life the wonderful characters of Dr Seuss’ books. The show is directed by Monalisa Arias, a talented actress and director who was trained at the London Drama Academy and the William and Mary University in the United States. She recently directed ‘Stop Kiss’ for Talingo productions

In addition to this presentation there will be two shows at the Parque De Las Madres in Pedregal on Saturday, March 18 and at Escuela Monseñor Beckmann, in Las Cumbres on Saturday, March 25th. These remote performances are limited to the students of Panama and they were made possible thanks to the Panama Municipality and the US Embassy.
