Panama Horror FestThis year the festival dedicates its poster to the ghost legends and characters of Panamanian traditions, represented by the image of the legend of the “Woman in pollera”, which was uncovered by the Panamanian author and folklorist Dora Perez de Zarate in her book “The Panamanian Saga, a disturbing subject” (“La Saga Panameña, un tema inquietante”).

This year in addition to the shorts competition, documentaries, film and a video minute, there will be two new categories: Narratives and Illustrations, whose main purpose is to rescue the Panamanian legends and ghost stories. It is sponsored by the Panama National Institute of Culture (INAC).
