Fun at malls during Christmas time
Many malls embrace the Christmas spirit offering free entertainment to the shoppers. Some like Multiplaza and Metromall have a series of events to help you get in the mood for the end of the year celebrations. One thing they all have in common is the enormous, beautifully decorated tree in the middle of their main plazas.
Multiplaza has an ice skating ring, where you can experience the thrill of sliding on ice if try to keep upright and the Bumper Cars until Monday, January 18 at Plaza de la Luna. You can also listen to the music of the pianist Regina Chiprut from Wednesday to Friday at 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Plaza de la Luna.
Santa Claus will visit Multiplaza on Friday and Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Facetas Group will play every weekend at Plaza de La Luna until Saturday, December 23 from 4:00 p.m.
The Brader College Choir will be singing on the steps of Plaza del Sol on Friday, December 29 and Tuesday, January 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Metromall, the closest shopping center to the Tocumen International Airport, have trampolines, where adults and children can bounce to their hearts content. The tree is beautifully decorated and it is a good place to have a photo moment.

Altaplaza has created a North Pole station where you can see a train coming through an enormous Christmas tree adorned with teddy bears, which are incredibly cute. During this season the mall has activities almost every day with rum punch tastings, carol singing courtesy of Colegio Chino-Panameño and Knightsbridge Schools International Panama, the Show Tribu and Ricardo Velázquez.
