New Year is for partying
Panamanians celebrate the New Year big time. Normally they will stay with their families until midnight on December 31st, but after that, they hit the discotheques and bars until the sunrise. After that they will go to the beach to sober up. Others prefer to go to organized parties in hotels and restaurants, where different generations come together to welcome the year.
