Craft beers at the Panama Micro Brew Fest
Craft beers lovers will be in paradise at the Panama Micro Brew Fest, now in its sixth edition, which will take place on Friday 26 and Saturday, January 27 at the City of Knowledge. This is the only event in the country dedicated to national and international craft beers that have been carefully selected to satisfy all palates.
The Micro Brew Fest promotes specialized beer rather than industrialized ones – beers with complex flavors that can be strong, sweet and in some cases creatively manufactured with fruits and tropical flavors. At the festival you can taste more than 200 varieties of local and international beers.
As in previous years, there will be a competition where the best craft beer will be awarded the coveted “Golden Barrel”, a selection made by judges and the public. Also there will be a seminar to teach how to make homemade beer.
Through these activities the Micro Brew Fest offers the perfect opportunities for beer lovers to get to know the Master Brewers who are behind their favorite drinks and learn more about the art of brewing beer. This project opens the road for the original dream of the organizers, a week dedicated to craft beer in Panama.
This year the festival will bring novelty items and products that cannot be found in the local market.
The tickets are for sale at Panatickets and cost $10.85 (price does not include charges), and the event will take place at the Ciudad Deportiva Kiwanis, Friday at 6:00 pm / Saturday at 3:00 pm.
