The Panama Chamber of Construction (CAPAC) has organized this event for the last 16 years as a way to show not only housing and commercial properties, but also the latest advances in the construction industry.
Tania Di Bello Robles, president of Expo Vivienda 2018, said that “this year the forecast is favorable and during the four days of the event we expect mortgage transactions in the region of $120 million.”
Expo Vivienda 2018 will have 200 exhibitors including promoters and real estate agencies, with properties in the province of Panama and other areas such as Arraiján, La Chorrera, San Francisco, Juan Díaz, Río Abajo, Bethania, Pueblo Nuevo, Las Cumbres, Bella Vista and 24 de Diciembre. For those who are looking for homes in the interior, there are houses and apartments located in the mountains, beaches and the main cities of the provinces.
The fair will also have a series of activities such as the “Do It Yourself” workshop which aims to teach the visitors to the fair how to remodel or repair damage in their homes without having to hire the services of a professional. They will also give you ideas about how to save water and electricity, create a vertical garden, change locks and repair cracks among other skills.
During the weekend there will be an area especially created for children with games, face painting and a bouncing castle. Outside the venue a recycling station has been installed to recycle the paper, cardboard, glass, tetrapak, cans and plastic produced during the fair.
