FOB helps promote Panama in Peru
Recently Cesar Laines of OP Traders went to Peru to show entrepreneurs from that country the mechanisms and ways of doing business in Panama as well as informing them the costs and procedures that the Peruvian Customs demand to allow the entrance of merchandise from Panama, especially the Colón Free Zone.
Attendees to the conferences were given copies of FOB, the ultimate business directory and guide to the Colon Free Zone, which, complete with maps and its website www.colonfreezone.com has been promoting that entity for more than 39 years.
Laines also introduced the South American businessmen to the web page ImportardePanama.com, a site that seeks to bring closer ties between Panamanian enterprises that operate in the Colón Free Zone and Latin American entrepreneurs. It also explains the advantages and benefits that Panama has as a place to do business and as a logistics center of the American continent.
With these talks, Laines and OP Traders hope to provide current key information to start commercial relations in Panama. The idea is to develop business opportunities between Panama and Peru focusing on recognizing niches in the market and providing basic commercial tools to develop international commerce activities.
