Beer lovers and those who like to hang out and have a good time need look no further than the Brew Stop in Plaza Riviera on Calle 54 in Marbella. With 60 different artisan beers on the menu, there is sure to be a few just right for you. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable servers will guide you to that perfect brew.
The welcoming atmosphere makes the Brew Stop a favorite with the after-work crowd and a great place to meet new people, visitors as well as locals.
The food is bar-style with a variety of succulent burgers. Our favorite is La Picarona Burger with pepperjack cheese, caramelized onion and bacon, onion rings and cilantro mayonnaise but the Porker with chorrizo, garlic mayonnaise, sweet sauce, pepperjack, caramelized onions and onion rings comes a close second. The fish tacos and chicken wrap get high marks too, as do the wings and nachos – all perfect to accompany the beer of your choice. Monday to Friday Happy Hour offers the best selection of craft beers, cocktails and liquors 2 x 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday there are special food offers. In June, with the purchase of an order of Stop Hot Wings customers get a Bruce Burger or Porker Burger for free or the La Picarona Burger for only $2 (normally $12).
Brew Stop was a pioneer “Craft Beer” Bar in Panama, opening its doors for the first time on January 3, 2014 and offering a unique experience. Starting with a variety of 26 beers, today they offer more than 60 bottles and 16 lines of draft. Cocktails are not neglected either, the menu rivaling that of the best mixology bars.
Brew Stop distributes country-wide with direct representation of US brands such as Rogue Ales, Abita Brewing Co, Lost Coast Brewery, North Coast Brewing Company and ACE Ciders. They also handle the distribution of local craft beer from Boquete Brewing Company in Chiriqui. They are the only “Corner Stone” establishment in Panama certified by Stone Brewing Company out of San Marcos, California.
A new branch of Brew Stop is due to open at the end of July in the Atrio Mall, Costa del Este, next to Los Años Locos and at the end of 2018 another is planned for Panama Pacifico.
“We maintain our passion for making each visit special and our commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring a unique experience for all our friends who have supported us for these past 4 years,” says Esteban Arosemena, co-founder. “We love what we do and think you will too”.
