Panama Restaurant Week is back from Monday, April 15 to Tuesday, April 30, showcasing over 20 participating restaurants in the capital city. Special menus are being created for diners seeking to try out new culinary creations. Headquarters for the event is Restaurante Tastes at the RIU Panama Plaza Hotel, on Calle 50.
Now in its sixth year, the initiative seeks to fortify Panama’s standing as a culinary destination. According to Melissa Pinto, founder of Panama Restaurant Week, the event will be repeated in the second semester of this year.
A list of participating restaurants can be found visiting PanamaRestaurantWeek.com and on Facebook.com. Up-to-the-minute details may be accessed by “following” the “PmaRestWeek” account on the social media network Twitter.
Sponsors include the French brand of mineral water Perrier, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Morandé Chilean wines and the Panama City Municipality.
