Panama Ink Fest 2016. On Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday, August 28, for the eighth consecutive year the tattoo and urban body art event, “Panama City Ink Fest 2016”, will take place at the Vasco Nunez de Balboa Convention Center in the Hotel El Panama.
This fair is a convention of national and international tattoo artists, bringing together the best talent from more than 15 countries around the world, making this, one of the most important body art events of Central America.
Among the special guests present this year will be tattoo artists who participate in the program “Ink Master” from “Spike” channel; Joey Geminiano, creator of the television show “Tattoo Rescue”; Jasmine Rodriguez, from the “Tattoo Nightmares” program; Brian Everett, body art pioneer in the United States and more than 140 professional artists from America, Asia and Europe.
Several activities will be held during the event, such as seminars for artists, live entertainment, best tattoo competition, “Miss Ink Fest International 2016” “contest, a visual arts gallery, food and drink sales, a cars and motorcycles exhibition, Roller Derby clinics and a special section dedicated to entertainment for children with arcade games. In addition there will be participation by local and international businesses related to the tattoo industry.
The event is open to the public the three days of the festival from 12 noon and continues with activities and live music until 10 p.m. General admission is $10 per day per person or $25 for the “full pass” with access to the three days of the event. There are also packages and discounts for those interested in staying at the hotel during the fair.
